Ash Explosion Hall Table is a solid wood and glass hall table design made from one large beam of solid white ash in which I made multiple cuts most, but not all of the way, through its length. After a few hours in a steam box, the wood is removed and all the parts are quickly bent to their proper curves before cooling into their final shape. By varying the placement and angle of the rods which hold each section apart, I can control the form of the explosion.
